Distressed denim pieces with female portraits using scraps of fabric and embroidery. I deconstructed the portraits and reconstruct them; rip them off and started again. I used embroidery to mend and repair the torn images and made them beautiful in the process. The fabric collage portraits are embellished with embroidery and different surface design techniques like beading and sequins. I cut free hand to create organic shapes to form the portraits.
